Introduction from Kathryn Stott

Dear Music Lover,

I’m very excited to introduce the new MCCS new season – and what an international one it is going to be! With music ranging from Bach and Mozart to Dutilleux and Tan Dun, we are looking at a real musical feast. Through the season, we will hear the music of 20 composers and travel 300 years in time, giving us all just a flavour of the great diversity chamber music can offer. I am especially proud to welcome the wonderful array of musicians who are going to perform for you. It’s always a joy to have MCCS invitations accepted by musicians who really want to come and play for our series! As always, we have a terrific mix of artists. We extend a warm welcome to them all, both those well known to Manchester audiences and those appearing here for the first time.

Come and be part of Manchester’s most enthusiastic chamber music society – I look forward to seeing you there!
