MANCHESTER CHAMBER CONCERTS SOCIETY
Artistic Director: Kathryn Stott

2011-12 Season
World-class musicians, wonderful music, warm atmosphere........
Monday nights at RNCM

Welcome to Manchester Chamber Concerts Society, which presents one of the finest series of chamber music concerts in Britain. Recent performers at MCCS include the Tetzlaff and Emerson Quartets, the Nash and Haffner Ensembles, and tenor Mark Padmore with pianist Julius Drake. All concerts take place in the intimate atmosphere of the Concert Hall at Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music.

Artistic Director Kathryn Stott selects some of the most interesting musicians working today.  This season presents a wide range of works and styles ranging over three centuries, with performers including the foremost oboist on the concert platform today, François Leleux; the Leipzig, Ebène, Arcanto and Doric quartets, and two fine string players, Henning Kraggerud and Louise Hopkins.

Subscriptions to the whole season’s concerts represent a saving of 25% against the tickets bought singly - full ticket information is on the booking page.  Subscription tickets include a voucher for a free guest ticket that can be redeemed for any concert in the season.

Many RNCM students come to our concerts, and we have extended our concessionary ticket prices to include anybody under the age of 25.
