All of our concerts take place at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). Further information about the RNCM can be found here.

The RNCM is located one mile south of Manchester City Centre, on the corner of Oxford Road and Booth Street West.

The main entrance is on Booth Street West.

We encourage visitors to travel to by public transport where possible. Please visit for details of buses, trains and trams in the Greater Manchester area.


By Car

RNCM secure underground car park - located next to the College in the basement of the Sir Charles Groves Hall of Residence, off Rosamund Street West. Open from 5pm weekday evenings. £3 per car, payable on entry to the car park.

Manchester University North West - situated off Upper Cambridge Street within three minutes' walk of the RNCM.

Aquatics Centre car park - situated off Booth Street East. This car park is 24 hour.
Please note that car parks 2 and 3 are not run by the RNCM. 

By Train

Manchester Oxford Road is the nearest train station to the RNCM (approximately half a mile/15 minute walk away).

Manchester Piccadilly station is less than a mile away. From there visitors can travel to us by walking (approximately 20 minutes), or by taking a bus or short taxi journey.

By Bus

There are frequent bus services from Manchester City Centre (Piccadilly Gardens) to Oxford Road, and Booth Street West.

The nearest bus stops to the RNCM on Oxford Road are Manchester Aquatics Centre and The University of Manchester. On Booth Street West there is a stop near to the main entrance to the RNCM.

By Tram

The nearest tram stop is St Peter’s Square (just over one mile from the RNCM). From there you can walk or catch a bus down Oxford Road.
